Sinai.ai, the next-generation adaptive reading platform transforming books into dynamic, intelligent experiences, today announced the close of its $1.45M pre-seed funding round. The round was led by KAUST Innovation Ventures (KIV) and DisrupTech Ventures, with participation from Maza Ventures and YOUXEL Ventures, alongside a coalition of angel investors. The capital will fund proprietary tech, AI infrastructure, user acquisition, and licensing.

The global book market represents over $150 billion in value, yet the core format of books has remained largely unchanged for decades. Sinai.ai was founded on the conviction that this is about to change, and that the transition must happen in partnership with the publishers and rights holders who built the industry, not at their expense.

At the heart of Sinai is the aiBook™, a trademarked, patent-backed book format that transforms traditional books into multimodal, hyper-personalized experiences. About the Team

Sinai.ai was co-founded by a team of five individuals: Ahmed Kamel (CEO) is a serial tech entrepreneur who co-founded two successful businesses. He also completed post-graduate studies in AI, technology, and innovation at Stanford University. Mohamed Elshamy (CRO) holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and brings global GTM and revenue expertise from Google, McKinsey, and Meta. Mohamed Elshenawy (CTO) holds a PhD in AI from the University of Toronto and has led AI/ML development across different companies and AI ventures. Hana Malhas (CFO) is a seasoned financial strategist with an MBA from the University of Michigan and deep experience in creative industries and startups. Abdullah Moatasem (CCO) is a world-class creative director with credits at Warner Bros., Netflix, and Disney+.
